Our Church School is pleased and excited to announce that a first-ever Church School Reunion is scheduled for Saturday November 26th and Sunday November 27th, 2011 at our Church Hall in Monroeville, PA.
This Reunion was the dream of our late 3rd grade teacher +Mrs. Mildred Devich who faithfully served our church school for decades.
The purpose of this reunion is to give thanks to God and remember, honor and celebrate all of the wonderful past and present students, parents, teachers, priests, administrators and assistants who helped and continue to help make our St. Nicholas Church Community so special.
The Reunion Weekend will commence with a Dinner-Dance starting at 5:00pm on Saturday evening November 26th, 2011 in our Church Hall.
The weekend will of course continue with Divine Liturgy on Sunday November 27th, 2011 starting at 10:00am. A Parastos for all those students, teachers, priests, administrators and assistants who have past away will be held immediately after Divine Liturgy.
The celebration will continue Sunday afternoon in our Church Hall with a social featuring live music, food and refreshments.
As you could imagine, this is a serious undertaking.
A Church School Reunion Committee has been formed. The main task of the Reunion Committee is to identify everyone who has ever participated in our Church School and invite them to this gala event.
